Swine Flu Georgia: First Case Confirmed
The first case of swine flu Georgia has been now confirmed.
An unidentified woman from Georgia spent a week in Cancun, and she felt sick upon coming back.
CDC (Center for Disease Control) has confirmed that she felt sick because of swine flu.
Earlier, Dr. Patrick O’Neal, director of preparedness in the Georgia Division of Public Health, had told reporters that the chances of the swine flu bypassing the state are “virtually nil”, due to the highly contagious nature of swine flu.
The swine flu infection appears to be in Troupe County, GA, the City of LaGrange.
