Swine Flu: Marine Contracted Flu in California
This is a breaking news - CDC has now confirmed that one of the marines at 29 Palms marine station in California has tested postive for swine flu virus. This marine came in contact with 30 other marines, so all those marine have been quarantined. The 29 Palms swine flu case is the first in the US Armed Forces.
He is doing well now, and his condition is improving.
There are currently no Camp Pendleton swine flu infections, neither there is a report of Swine Flu at Miramar.
The quarantined marines will be returned to duty in 5 days if they do not display flu symptoms during that time.
