Cancun & Swine Flu ? 6 NYC Queens Students Test Positive

Well, we thought there were no cases of swine flu in Cancun… that is the official line, and it may be partially true. Today we learn that 6 students returning from Cancun to Queens U. (NY) have tested positive. See the Cancun Swine Flu article from NY Post.

Excerpts:

  • A group of students went on a wild spring break party in Cancun and may have brought the virus back
  • Officials said that in every case of illness, the symptoms were mild (as has been the case generally in the US)
  • “Many of the children are feeling better”
  • It is unclear if the eight students who tested positive were among the group that spent spring break in Cancun.
  • .. the symptoms spread like wildfire.

How come they have the flu when there is no one infected in Can Cun??? I mean that´s weird, I think New York State doesn’t want people to know the true, there have been problem of flu in the USA but it seems like nobody really cares.
