Flu in Mexico: 200 Dead? Is the toll being under-reported?

Just reading BBC about the spread of swine flu in Mexico City. Is the death toll in Mexico being under-reported? According to one commenter who says he is a doctor, two of his partners died at the local hospital in less than 6 days. He says the full number of victims is 200.

Anothr poster reports that the situation in Mexico City is NOT normal. Large gatherings are being cancelled.

Dr. Wood of Mexico City worries about the spread of the virus on cramped commuter buses and trains. He says it does not take a virulent strain to be spread due to over-crowding.

Rainer from Cancun worries that this is a huge blow to the tourism industry in Cancun. The area almost exclusively relies on tourism for its livelihood. Although cases have not been reported in Cancun, there is of course tremendous tourist anxiety and I am sure many cancellations are being processed as we speak. The disease is mostly in Mexico City, but people do not differentiate, and think it is affecting all of Mexico.
