There is some potentially great news about a single does swine flu vaccine that I wanted to share with our Cancun enthusiasts as well as our swine flu newsletter subscribers. According to a Reuters article, Novartis has developed a single dose swine flu vaccine that has been effective in 80 out of 100 volunteers it has been tested on. This vaccine should go a long way towards mass availability of vaccine in the upcoming North American flu season.

H1N1 as swine flu was officially called, can eventually infect 2 BILLION people worldwide.

The medication mentioned above has not been approved for use in the United States yet, and actually may not be because it uses MF59 adjuvant.

FYI, H1N1 flu shot is not combined with regular flu shot, and is administered seperately.
